I am the coordinator of the Information Service Department which includes: creating publications for advertising events, classes, and ministries in order to inform the people of First Assembly and our community. I am involved with the service planning team, the website commitee, and media ministry. I also assist in the Hospitality and Service Ministry with my husband, Bruce Van.

I felt a call into full time ministry at age 16. Shortly after, the Senior Pastor of my home church resigned to take a position at the Illinois District. At that time I felt it was best to wait on the Lord to see where He led me.

I met and married Bruce, in 1975. We had 2 wonderful little girls. We were very involved in our church. I once again felt the prompting to full time ministry. I shared it with Bruce and he informed me that he too felt a call on his life at an earlier age and once again felt the Lord prompting. After 2 years of praying and seeking we felt the Lord leading us to Lakeland, Florida to attend Southeastern College (now Southeastern University).

The Lord provided a lot of wonderful experiences prior to us joining the staff of First Assembly, Clearwater. It is an honor to serve the congregation with such wonderful staff, and leaders.
