 As a ministry of First Assembly, the worship band was created to nurture and progress the gifts and talents of individuals with a desire to achieve excellence in church music. Here at First Assembly, we believe in striving for excellence in all things -- which requires many hours of practice and a boundless commitment to this church and ministry. The worship band rehearses praise & worship music, ensemble music, and choir music. Members of the worship band, along with the worship team, are responsible for creating an atmosphere of worship that can be seen through their lifestyle on and off the platform. Practices and rehearsals are held on Thursday nights from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Special rehearsals will be held for musicals and seasonal productions. Faithfulness in attendance and a willingness to be used are key components in this ministry. |
